Chocolate Macaroons ala Cricket
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 Tbsp cocoa
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 2 cups of oats
- 1 cup of Crispy Aketta Whole Crickets
Combine all ingredients except the crickets, then when sticky consistency is reached, and you may need to adjust wet / dry ratio, gently fold in the crickets. Batter should be able to be molded easily into a cookie form. Putting butter or oil on hands will help keep the batter from sticking to your skin.
Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil, refrigerate at least 2-3 hours.
